The Georgia Mountains Foodays Alliance celebrates local food and the people who grow and make it. Our members come together to experience and preserve our food traditions, supporting farmers and food artisans who sustain the land and connect us to it. We encourage the rescue and proliferation of traditional ingredients and seek to make those flavors accessible to our whole community.

Beechwood Inn Bed & Breakfast and Restaurant: Historic Inn located in Rabun County. The Beechwood Inn is a 2007 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence Restaurant and also features a 3,000 bottle wine cellar. Botanologos
: Is the northeast Georgia herb school that specializes in teaching about Southern Appalachian medicinal herbs and their therapeutic uses. Its principle instructor, Patricia Kyritsi Howell is a co-founder of the Georgia Mountains Foodways Alliance. http://www.botanologos.com/

Crane Creek Vineyards:

Hillside Orchard Farms: Hillside Orchard Farms began in the 1980's when Robert D Mitcham Sr., a agriculture teacher, was looking for something to do with cucumbers and the apples that were grown in his orchard. He built a small jelly plant in his backyard, which grown to a large processing facility that produces over 600 products, along with a Country Store and Farm Adventure, Restaurant and much more. http://www.hillsideorchard.com/

Lily Creek Lodge - Dahlonega:

Osage Farm: Located on Hwy 441 North in Rabun Gap just north of Gillespie Growers, Osage Farms has "pick-your-own" strawberries and tomatoes, as well as local strawberries, cabbage, squash, tomatoes, corn, and shelled peas and beans. They also feature heirloom tomatoes, beans and squash, and a variety of pumpkins are available in season. Osage Farms is open 7 days a week from May 1st through Halloween, and post approximate dates that the crops will come in.

Persimmon Creek Vineyards: 110 acre farm with vineyards and winery in beautiful Persimmon Valley of Rabun County. Tiger Mountain Vineyards: The Stacks and Ezzard families grow grapes and make premium wines at thier Rabun County vineyards. They also sponsor seasonal events at the winery featuring music, fine wines and local products. Located 5 miles north of the historic town square, Wolf Mountain Vineyards and Winery represents a 25-acre family-owned wine growing estate. Georgia State Farmers' Markets: 
Georgia's Markets Section administers fifteen State Farmers' Markets which form the network for sales of fruits and vegetables throughout Georgia and the Southeast. These facilities maintain a viable market for Georgia farmers and farm products in the communities where they are located. State Farmers' Markets are responsible for over one billion in sales each year.
